Welcome

The translation of Los Cuernos De Tejas is "The Horns of Texas".

The Los Cuernos De Tejas Big Game Contest was organized in Carrizo Springs in 1996 to promote our area's most magnificent asset; our thriving wildlife. The contest began with individuals who wanted to pursue the legacy between the sportsman, the landowner, the merchants and the state government.

Peggy Schulze Van Cleve is the owner of Circle V Ranch Center in Carrizo Springs, Texas. She is a wildlife enthusiast but she was also a schoolteacher for twenty-two years. Being a firm believer in education, Peggy and her children, Quentin, Holly and Cole, added the Scholarship Fund to assist others in their pursuit of higher education.
